Microwave cakes and oven-baked brownies move over for these Air Fryer Brownies for Two, THM-S, Keto!
They offer convenience and portion control which you’ll definitely need for these delectable treats. They’re done almost to a crisp on the outside but the air fryer (unlike the microwave) cooks from the outside in so the inside stays moist and delicious as long as it’s not overcooked.
This is a very dark dense chocolate dessert and in my opinion, you will need low carb vanilla ice cream but the chocolate sauce is strictly optional for an additionally decadent-tasting touch.
I used the Carb Smart brand from my local Kroger and Wal-mart. But there are a few more out there now I believe.
Here are some published by a few of my blogging buddies also:
Single Serve Peanut Butter Ice Cream in the Blender
Cottage Style Vanilla Ice Cream
If you’d like to make an air fryer recipe for more than two here’s a full sized one complete with topping:
When first testing this recipe I was a bit concerned to see the outside crust on these for the first time.
I hadn’t made that many baked goods in the air fryer so had no idea how the quick cooking feature of this type of heat could get almost crispy on the outside but retain so much moisture inside.
What a delightful surprise these were!
To make a quick, easy “magic shell” type chocolate sauce try melting a spoonful or so of sugar-free chocolate chips in the microwave with a little refined coconut oil and sweetener then drizzle it right over the top of the ice cream to make these well… Over the Top Delicious!
I’ll be adding this recipe to my chocolate chip roundup. If you love cooking with easy convenient sugar-free chocolate chips be sure and check these out!

If you don't have 3 tablespoons Gentle Sweet on hand you can mix 1 1/2 tablespoons Pyure or Truvia with 1 1/2 tablespoons erythritol or xylitol and get a good sub. Sweeteners with a high concentration of stevia can conflict with a recipe with a strong chocolate flavor. You'll need twice as much Swerve or any other sweeteners that measure the same as sugar to replace the Gentle Sweet in this recipe. If you'd prefer to mix your own sub you can use my Sweetener post as a guide. This mixture is the closest sweetener to sugar although Lakanto is now making an erythritol/monk fruit combo that comes close. It is a little less sweet than Gentle sweet though so you'll need to use more. Air Fryer Brownies for Two
