This Low Carb Copycat Frosted Lemonade is Keto and THM-S friendly!
It has become our favorite summer go-to for quick, easy refreshment!
In case you’re also missing those delicious drinks while you try to beat this heat, here’s a sugar free version that I’ve finally perfected! This smoothie joins my Frosted Coffee as my latest Copycat Chick-fil-A drink.
Here’s a yummy homemade vanilla ice cream from Briana Thomas that you can make if you don’t have a low carb recipe. I have a few more ice cream links over on the Frosted Coffee recipe too. 😀
This drink is a “sister drink” to my original Sugar Free Lemonade Frosty! That smoothie is just a little lighter if you’re needing a Low Carb/Low Fat snack THM FP. But this latest Low Carb Copycat Frosted Lemonade is closer to the restaurant version and is one rich tasting sugar free smoothie!
If you love this one I think you’ll also enjoy Nana’s Cool Summer Drink Roundup where I have 13 other sweet, summery sippers, smoothies, and frozen coffee drinks.
If you enjoy the flavor of lemon either sweet or savory try a few of these from my blog:

This protein packed Low Carb Copycat Frosted Lemonade could not be simpler to grab on the go.
Juice a couple of lemons, add sweetener, leftover vanilla low carb ice cream (or a combo of store bought low carb ice cream and cottage cheese) a dash of salt almond milk and blend.
You do want to add these in just the right amounts though so scroll on down to the bottom of this page and read or print out the recipe.

I’ve included a affiliate links to Amazon products within the recipe card because those are the easiest for most people to find. If you’re a fan of Trim Healthy Mama like I am though you can find the premium products that I generally use by accessing my affiliate links to the store:
Gentle Sweet (closest to sugar flavor but contains xylitol)

*I know many people just love the flavor that vanilla adds to smoothies and other desserts but please try this one without it before adding it. I’ve found that vanilla cancels out the lemon flavor a bit. The flavors of this smoothie are enhanced with the tiny amount of added salt and an extra helping of sweetener so try it as is and I think you’ll <3 it!
*Homemade low carb ice cream is normally lower glycemic than the store bought kind. If you have leftover ice cream this is a delicious way to use it. Otherwise the store bought low carb of your choice @ 1/4 cup plus 1/4 cup high quality cottage cheese will make an good sub. *Collagen powder is a tasteless way to add enough protein to make this a satisfying, nutritious snack. If you're making it as a dessert or eating another protein food with it then you can leave the collagen out without affecting the flavor or texture. *Heavy whipping cream is higher in fat and lower in carbs than half and half.Low Carb Copycat Frosted Lemonade

The ingredient list doesn’t mention lemon. Your instructions above mentioned a couple of lemons. Can you clarify that? It sounded delicious and I would love to try it.
Teresia says
Thanks Tina! I’ve got it fixed. The juice of two lemons is needed, for sure! 😀
Deb says
Where is the recipe found for the ice cream?
Teresia says
I’ve added a link to the top of the recipe and if you want more there are also a couple on the frosted coffee recipe that is linked at the top too. Here’s the one that I added from Briana Thomas

So good! I made this on a particularly hot July day and it hit the spot! No more chick-fil-a drive thru necessary!
I made the vanilla ice cream from My Montana Kitchen instead of store bought. Delicious!
