A great new collection of 12+ Unique Uses for Low Carb Tortillas!
This post brings together some of our most popular recipes for those that use these convenience foods from time to time.
Healthy food choices can come in many packages these days but in the battle to maintain a healthy weight, many times the low glycemic choice is key. Because they are allowed for occasional use for Trim Healthy Mama and a popular in low carb diets many of us find low carb tortillas to be a meal saver when we need a fast way to get food on the table or into the hands of a hungry family without increasing the carb load.
Although there are many recipes posted for these wraps this collection focuses on the more unusual uses for these tortillas.
The fact that they get delightfully crispy in the oven means that you might find us baking them into chips, using them as crusts for savory and sweet dishes, and even frying fruity little hand pies in them. Scroll down to find recipes for these and much more!

A few notes on enjoying these tortillas in a healthy eating plan.
Super foods and whole foods are our preferred carb sources but for less regular uses we just need to keep the serving size of these to a maximum of 6 net carbs per meal or snack. For this reason serving sizes are normally specified in recipes containing these wraps, unlike most of our other low carb dishes.
No, these tortillas aren’t gluten free and most of us aren’t sure how they got that carb count down that low but when we need them we’re sure glad that they are there.
Most grocery stores carry them now but if you have any trouble finding them in your area you can order them (by the 4 or 6 pack) and store them in the freezer or fridge.
Below you’ll find some products that I thought you might find helpful so take a look at them and remember they are affiliate links.
